why self promoting is not accepted?
Self-promoting is generally discouraged in most communities because it is perceived as spammy, disruptive, and self-centered. The purpose of most online communities is to provide a space for individuals to interact, share information and collaborate with one another. When one person consistently promotes their own interests without contributing to the community as a whole, it can detract from the overall user experience and make it difficult for others to have meaningful conversations.
Additionally, selfpromotion can be perceived as disingenuous and inauthentic, which can harm one's reputation and damage trust with others in the community.
That being said, there may be some context where self-promotion is acceptable, such as in online forums or social media groups that are specifically created for the purpose of promoting and selling products or services. In these cases, it is important to still be mindful of the community's guidelines and to make sure that one's promotional activity is balanced with other types of contribution.
